After god rested on the seventh day did he goes on creating on the 8th day till to-day?

Scripture is focused on this earth. He basically finished creating the earth, and later Satan took over by deceiving humanity. Scripture does not address what is happening in other places of the universe. (Whether there are other worlds, aliens, etc) The other question is when what happened. Since the universe is so big, the things we now see, might have happened a long time ago, and light from them just now reached us, or maybe when they were made, YHVH made the light extend at a faster rate than it usually travels. There is no way we can know.
