Tell me why America is so much trapped in Iraq ?

America ofcourse have a better military power than a 1971 India who went to liberate Eastern Pakistan, against a neighbouring country(Pakistan) which received support from big powers like US and China. India managed to enter the hostile territory, won the battle and helped to restore power in Dhakka under Mujib ur Rahman and most importantly "came back" from the new nation within a couple of days leaving the destiny to Bangladeshis despite having a geographical claim on it if thought negatively. Is it because of USA's self interest that they stay there or simply because Arabs inside their heart admire and love to have a western presence around.(I heard Arabs, segregating themselves from Asians - calling others Asians.)
