My Brandi Broke of Sims 2 Died unexpectedly! Ugh!!?

Anyone out there who is playing Sims 2 had Brandi Broke die?! I moved her family into a custom built home and they all sat to eat breakfast...and BANG! She grabbed her stomach, death came, and while I had Dustin plead for her life, he lost and so Brandi died! Now what? A child, teen, and soon-to-be adult trio living in a house with no support? Ugh!
