Can anybody tell me anything about art therapy?

I would like to major in art therapy and become an art therapist but i'm not sure how any of that works. So I guess this a long two part question (sorry). 1) How would someone become an art therapist? 2) If you are a an art therapist, or just happen to know... what would a typical work day be like?
