Calling all METAL HEADS!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I have a question for my fellow metal heads. I am confused why the hell do alot of metal heads think that if someone likes slipknot they aren't a true metal head?? or Korn??....i over heard an argument today in cl and i must admit myself that ya those two bands sold out, but when they 1st came out they were bad ***..new sound to metal and it was great. Anyway how do you guys feel about these bands? like i said ill give them respect for their ideas when they came out. They definatly aren't the heaviest bands ever, like i prefer Skinless if i want real heavy, but I think if anyone likes metal in any shape or form they have my repspect..a true metal head to me is one who likes metal in any way played if its either death metal, black metal, metal, nu-metal ect. i just over heard two guys arguing in my cl today and i wanted to know how other metal heads felt about what a "true metal" head is cuz i feel as long as you like metal you have my respects, cuz lets face it guys.. to the average joe metal is a hard genre to like in the 1st place, only a chosen few REALLY enjoy metal
