Anyone know about the Honda Insight?

I am thinking about purchasing a Honda Insight but one thing is still deterring me-the cars main battery life. I heard that it can cost up to 3,000 dollars on certain models to replace. I was wondering if anyone knows which models cost the least to replace or if they are all the same. If I could possibly get prices for each model that would be awesome. 10 points for best answer!
