Changing a laptops video/graphics card?

i have a compaq presario A900 laptop. i was wondering if it would be possible to remove the graphics card and replace it with something like an nvidia card. I am aware this may be very tricky but i just want to know if it is possible. It has an integrated intel gma graphics card and im not sure how easy they are to remove. Is it possibe?
