How do you color with; a scanner and Adobe Photoshop 7.0?

it doesn't matter what settings u have if you want to try and colour in a way that looks like it was drawn shade in pencil in the real image then draw over the pencil lines with the color replace tool. or you can download new brushes to fill in the gaps
