Q's about TOADS!!!!!?

actual toads, not sure if it means anything else but yeah i have a momma toad living in my backyard, in our window well (u know the spaces in front of the basement windows) i wasnt sure if she would alright down there but then i read they like to have shelter so i realized shes quite safe down there and i put down a lid full of water that she burrows underneath, didnt realize she was prego, then she had like 4-5 babies that are wandering in our garden i want to know how theyll survive the winter, we're moving soon tho so wud it be ok if i put the momma and babies in a box and moved them either to a forest, pond, or possibly or next house?? what do they do in the winter? help please :D
